Amy Zaagman - Executive Director

On August 6, 2009 the Board of Directors welcomed Amy Zaagman as the new MCMCH Executive Director.
Prior to joining the Council, Amy served as Associate Director of the Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards. Before that, she was Chief of Staff for State Senator Beverly Hammerstrom. Amy has both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Western Michigan University.


Don Sweeney - Office Manager

Before joining the Council in 2006, Don served as Executive Director of the Michigan School Health Foundation and as Advocacy Chairman of the American School Health Association. Prior to that, he was with the Michigan Department of Community Health in a variety of roles, including serving as Manager of the School Health Program and Co-Director of the CDC Infrastructure Project.
