Beaumont, Royal Oak has made the prestigious annual U.S. News and World Report "Best Hospitals" list.  Royal Oak was listed in eight (out of sixteen) medical specialties including being the top-ranked hospital in Michigan for Heart/Heart Surgery (ranked 14th) and Orthopedics (ranked 26th).  Other U.S. News rankings for Beaumont, Royal Oak in 2008:  Gastrointestinal Disorders (24th);  Endocrinology (25th); Geriatrics (36th); Heart/Heart Surgery (14th); Neurology/Neurosurgery (36th); Orthopedics (26th); Respiratory Disorders (28th); Urology (35th).
