When the Michigan Council for Maternal and Child Health was formed in 1983, its goal was simple-- to be a voice in the political process for pregnant women, children, and their families to assure that their health and well-being are ensured

For nearly two decades, MCMCH has met that goal by educating and informing policymakers, community leaders, and service providers about the importance of prevention and intervention in our health care and human service systems.

MCMCH's strength has always been in its partnerships. Community coalitions and grassroots maternal and child health networks have partnered with our Board of Directors to provide leadership in developing the best policy for pregnant women, children and their families.

Join us in continuing to be a powerful voice for pregnant women, children and their families in Michigan!
